About Cayuga Lake Creamery

We use the finest ingredients to prepare our small batches of homemade ice cream on-site at our home store in Interlaken. The Interlaken store, commonly referred to as β€œThe Creamery”, is located on the Cayuga Lake Scenic Byway in the heart of Finger Lakes wine country & has been a favorite stop for locals, tourists visiting the Finger Lakes from near & far & families of students at the various local colleges since 2004. The perfect oasis for travelers of all ages, it includes an indoor dining room and attached deck. Our outdoor dining area includes a waterfall feeding into a pond, home to many fish and frog friends, as well as our famous Creamery Express wooden train play structure. This area is pet friendly.

The kiddie scoop is plenty of ice cream.. Amazing flavors of homemade ice cream. Cute old wooden train to play on.

Had always had the best real custard in the FLX, also a unique rotating selection of home made hard ice cream. Got to try the seneca salt!

Excellent handmade local ice cream. The taste "No Doze" By far one of my favorites. And of course gluten free options including a waffle cup

We stopped here for an ice cream after our dinner on a Sunday night. It was just before closing. The icecrean was just OK... it didn't taste like homemade and I think it was overpriced.

Cayuga Lake Creamery was a great ice cream stop. They have a large selection of homemade ice cream and they have hard, soft, custard and sundaes to choose from. They also have some savory food options if you're interested in that. The ice cream was great, my wife enjoyed the cake batter and her waffle cone and I got the Reese's pieces sundae which was incredible! I got the small and it was way more than enough. Only go large if you haven't had food in 24 hours. The place was busy but we really had no wait at all. The team was working fast back there. Prices are average for ice cream nowadays and I thought portions were appropriate. They have an inside and outside eating area attached to the creamery and there is more outside down the hill where there is extra parking as well. It's nothing special inside but for an overly hot day nice to have. The outside down the hill provides shade so that is nice as well. Either way a great stop for ice cream if you are in the area. Enjoy!
